OverView
On the brink of the First World War, Albert's beloved horse Joey is sold to the Cavalry by his father. Against the backdrop of the Great War, Joey begins an odyssey full of danger, joy, and sorrow, and he transforms everyone he meets along the way. Meanwhile, Albert, unable to forget his equine friend, searches the battlefields of France to find Joey and bring him home.

March 14, 2013A too long story of a horse in times of WW I and its relationship with a young brit and some other characters in the way. Too childish but another family movie from Spielberg in the tradition of E.T. and the like.

February 6, 2017I absolutely understand why _War Horse_ got the highbrow attention that it did, but I did not find it satisfying on a personal level. Final rating:★★ - Definitely not for me, but I sort of get the appeal.

July 19, 2023Length is more, that can be reduced. But it is a Humbly simple feel good film. Spielberg Touch Is There. Story has good pace and flow of Journey. At last,we will wait anticipatedly for their joining.
